Traditional closed greenhouses or research chambers isolate plants from the real world, which is not always suitable for ecological or forest tree adaptation studies. Jiupo OTC solves this problem by offering an innovative semi-open architecture. The walls of the chamber are built of strong galvanized pipes and double tempered glass, which ensures exceptional seismic resistance and structural stability even in harsh weather conditions. A hollow concrete base is formed at the bottom, in which all engineering equipment is subtly hidden - fans, drainage and gas supply mains.

Air is drawn into this cylindrical chamber from below, creating a smooth, natural breeze-like flow that eventually escapes through the open top. In modern versions, the open top can be supplemented with electric shutters that automatically close when unwanted rain begins. The lack of lighting is compensated for by integrated full-spectrum LED modules, allowing researchers to observe the effect of different light wavelengths on plant photosynthesis at night or on overcast days.

These systems feature a smart controller with an LCD touch screen, developed by Jiupo. It allows for independent control and synchronization of CO2 gas levels, humidity and air flow rate, collecting essential data for further analysis. Since the volumes of forest trees or specific agricultural crops vary greatly, the company does not produce standard OTC models. Each project begins with a thorough assessment of the scientific task, after which an open-top room of optimal diameter and height is designed.
