TPP-2 flammability testing device is designed to assess the flame and heat resistance of protective clothing and materials according to international standards: ASTM D 4108, ASTM D 7140, BS EN 367, CAN/CGSB 155.20 and ISO 9151.
This test device allows for precise determination of the thermal protection of materials, ensuring uniform control of test conditions. It incorporates automatic burner position control, ensuring that each sample is exposed to the same heat flux. During the test, two copper calorimeters measure the amount of heat released by the flame, and burner ignition and gas flow control are automated.
The device is mounted on a single platform and has a comprehensive control panel that regulates the test parameters. If the burner flame goes out during the test, the system automatically cuts off the gas supply, ensuring maximum safety. The software is automatically started when the burner reaches the “test” position, and the control system allows you to monitor and record test data.
