Heat transfer test rig with tube-in-tube and air heat exchangers UTC-3/EV is a device designed for heat transfer studies using tube heat exchangers and air heat exchanger systems. The device allows for experiments in both co-flow and counter-flow, thus delving deeper into the principles of heat exchange and efficiency calculations. Automated model Model UTC-3a/EV has a PID controller that automatically controls the flow rate through two pneumatic valves.
- Mod. UTC-3/EV includes a tubular heat exchanger in a tube-in-tube design (0.3 m² exchange surface) in AISI 304 stainless steel and a radiator with a variable speed fan. The unit is equipped with an electronic anemometer, two flow meters with a range from 100 to 1000 l/h (only Mod. UTC-3/EV model) and six Pt 100 resistance thermometers with AISI 316 stainless steel casing.
- Mod. UTC-3c/EV adds all Mod. UTC-3/EV advantages, as well as electronic magnetic induction flow meters (AISI 316 stainless steel, range from 0 to 1000 l/h, 4-20 mA output signal), PC connection interface and data acquisition software.
- Model UTC-3a/EV without anyone Mod. UTC-3/EV and Mod. UTC-3c/EV The features include two pneumatic valves (AISI 316 stainless steel, Cv = 2.5) for flow control, a microprocessor-based digital PID controller with serial card connection and Windows-based monitoring software. This allows you to control ON-OFF signals, analog signals from the PID controller and monitor real-time trends and historical data.
