Flat plate solar collector Mod. TBS/EV is intended for scientific research and experiments related to the conversion of solar energy into thermal energy used for the production of domestic hot water. The device is equipped with two flat plate solar collectors, which allows studying the efficiency of energy transfer and optimizing the system parameters. The system includes the following components:
- Solar panels with adjustable inclination, mounted on casters. The collectors are made of high quality materials, including copper absorbers and ceramic insulation.
- Water storage capacity with circulation equipment and instruments: a 200-liter tank with two coil heat exchangers, a thermometer, an electric heating element that allows water to be heated when solar energy is not available.
- Circulation device, which includes an AC pump, safety and check valves, temperature and pressure gauges.
- Data acquisition system with PC: allows you to monitor and analyze the system, measure solar radiation, temperatures and efficiency. A computer program allows you to save data and analyze the performance of the collectors.
This simulator is ideal for analyzing solar thermal energy collection and heat balances, as well as for investigating collector efficiency and system optimization. It is designed for both outdoor and indoor use (with additional lighting).
