• With this essential set, you can easily demonstrate the birth process. The 48 cm long fetal model represents the average full-term baby. The body bends to show all presentations and positions, and the head has palpable anterior and posterior fontanelles. The Perineal Tissue Model (13 x 16.5 cm) is ideal for demonstrating perineal dilation, possible episiotomy and fetal head exit. The tissue is securely attached to our Flexible Pelvic Model with elastic bands and fits the fetal model’s head. The Flexible Pelvic Model can be manipulated to show how the pelvis moves to accommodate delivery. The Placenta/Coron/Amnion/Chorion Model allows you to show the fetal model inside a simulated amniotic sac. The clasp clearly shows veins and arteries, and the convenient cord closure securely closes. The amnion and chorionic membranes are accurate in two colors. The placenta measures 18 x 20 cm.
