- These simulators have been redesigned to be incredibly soft, provide a realistic feel and facilitate the simulation of childbirth. The newly revised 3D simulators provide a lifelike simulation of the cervical examination prior to delivery. Every effort has been made to provide exceptional realism so that the visual and tactile sensations provide a positive transition effect for patients to the procedures. The set consists of six individual 10 x 11 x 12 cm bowls. The external appearance of all six blocks is identical, but the internal structure is different. The internal texture, tissue density and correct anatomical size are all carefully reflected to provide the most realistic condition possible. The simulators depict six different cervical states prior to delivery. Each is clearly marked on the back to indicate which condition exists internally. Students will gain a tactile understanding of the non-dilated, 2 cm, 5 cm, 7 cm, 9 cm and enucleated conditions. Includes six simulation blocks (first through sixth), an acrylic holder, and a hard carrying case.
