Reverse osmosis test station Mod. OI/EV and OIa/EV is a modern training and research facility that allows for the analysis and optimization of the reverse osmosis process. This technology, when applied to a pressure exceeding the osmotic pressure, allows a solution to pass through a semi-permeable membrane to remove dissolved substances and provide water purification or desalination of salt water.
Curriculum:
The device allows you to study the following processes:
- Effect of operating pressure;
- Effect of inlet flow rate;
- The effect of UV light sterilization on leakage;
- The ratio of concentrated to leaked solution;
- Optimization of the reverse osmosis process;
- Automatic PID control (only Mod. OIa/EV);
- Device maintenance and control via computer (Mod. OIa/EV only).
