HFlow 1 with Hall, Carney and Gustavsson funnels with different openings and angles can be used to test the bulk density and flow rate of various metal AM powders, assessing their compressibility. - Compatibility
The combination of the Bettersizer 2600 laser diffraction analyzer and HFlow 1 helps maintain the particle size distribution and flow properties of AM powders.
During the feed preparation process, small particles tend to agglomerate, which can impair the powder bed bonding processes. Agglomerates will impede powder flow by increasing interparticle friction.
