Integrated photovoltaic-wind energy system PMWG-E/EV allows you to experiment with converting solar and wind energy into electricity using a stand-alone system. It is designed for research, education, and efficient energy conversion. The system uses commercially available components.

System composition:

  1. Photovoltaic system:
    • Mobile solar panel module (120 W x 2) with tracking capability (SOLTR/EV plugin required).
    • Solar radiation sensor (in PMWG/EV version).
  2. Wind generator:
    • Horizontal axis generator with 3 blades (1.17 m diameter).
    • Energy output: ~30 kWh/month at 5.8 m/s wind speed.
    • Wind speed and direction sensors (in PMWG/EV version).
  3. Control panel:
    • Integrated charge control, inverter (230 V, 600 W continuous power).
    • Microprocessor control with touch screen.
    • Data recording via USB interface and monitoring with special software.
  4. Battery:
    • 12 V, 100 Ah capacity.

Operating principles:

  • The system can operate with or without solar/wind energy.
  • Energy is distributed between the loads and the battery as needed.

Dimensions:

  • Solar panel: 120 x 120 x 200 cm.
  • Control panel: 92 x 46 x 72 cm.
  • Weight: 240 kg.
