Heat transfer test equipment with shell-and-tube and coil heat exchangers is a device designed for heat transfer studies using tube and coil heat exchanger systems. The device allows you to delve into the heat exchange between fluids that are separated by a wall, both in co-flow and counter-flow. Models vary in function: from manual control to fully automated systems with PID controller.
- Mod. UTC-2/EV includes a coil heat exchanger with AISI 304 stainless steel tubes and a borosilicate glass body (0.1 m² exchange surface), as well as a tubular heat exchanger with AISI 304 stainless steel tubes and a borosilicate glass body (0.1 m² exchange surface). The unit is equipped with two adjustable area transparent flow meters (range 100-1000 l/h) and four Pt 100 thermoresistances with AISI 304 stainless steel sheath.
- Mod. UTC-2c/EV without anyone Mod. UTC-2/EV features, adds electronic magnetic induction flow meters (AISI 316 stainless steel, range 0 to 1000 l/h, 4-20 mA output signal) and a PC connection interface, including data acquisition software for Windows.
- Mod. UTC-2a/EV without anyone Mod. UTC-2/EV and Mod. UTC-2c/EV features, adds two pneumatic valves (AISI 316 stainless steel, Cv = 2.5) for flow control, a microprocessor digital PID controller with serial card connection and Windows-based monitoring software. This allows you to control ON-OFF signals, analog signals from the PID controller, monitor real-time trends and historical data.
