Absorption pilot stand UAD/EV is intended for demonstration and practical training of the principles of gas absorption into a liquid. This stand includes a vertical absorption column made of borosilicate glass filled with Raschig rings. The column is mounted on an AISI 304 stainless steel frame with casters, ensuring mobility. The liquid used in the process is supplied from a stainless steel tank to the top of the column via an AISI 316 stainless steel centrifugal pump, allowing the liquid to flow through the column and return to the tank.
Main features:
- Column: borosilicate glass DN80, consisting of two 750 mm sections, filled with 10 mm Raschig rings.
- Power tank: capacity 50 liters, made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
- Centrifugal pump: Qmax = 28 l/min, Hmax = 1 bar, AISI 316 stainless steel construction.
- Compressor: rotary, Qmax = 10 m³/h, Pmax = 0.8 bar.
- Flow meters:
- For water: range 60–600 l/h.
- CO2: range 2–22 Nl/min.
- For air: range 20–200 Nl/min.
- Pressure gauges: 2 differential U-shaped pressure gauges, range 0–500 mm H2O.
- Gas analysis equipment: Hempl's apparatus.
