• An artificial bone structure is inserted into the torso, representing the upper part of the femur or greater trachanter, the posterior and anterior superior iliac crest, and the sacrum.
• The bony structure provides tangible anatomical markers to help students identify appropriate injection sites.
• A section of the upper, outer quadrant of the left gluteal region is dissected to allow students to visualize the underlying structures.
• This simulator allows training and practice of three types of intramuscular injections: dorsogluteal, ventrogluteal, and vastus lateralis injections.
