- The Tube Feeding Simulator is an effective training tool for nurses and medical professionals feeding patients with enteral tubes. The manikin has three routes for EN tubes and allows training with real liquid foods. To facilitate anatomical understanding, a feeding route panel for demonstration and a chest anatomy model for placement on the manikin are included in the kit. Tube positions can be confirmed by auscultation with a stethoscope as well as by direct observation. This simulator is compact and portable. The neck is flexible to allow learning of proper neck/head positioning. Tubes can be inserted for oral/nasal feeding and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy. Tube positions can be confirmed by auscultation with a stethoscope. The transparent structure allows direct observation of progress and tube position. The manikin can be set in the “Fowler” position.
