- Model PW001A – Raw:
- This model shows the sacral region with a pressure wound in the untreated stage. The tissues are dead from the constant pressure and the dead tissue is visible. The exact size of the area of necrosis cannot be determined and requires surgical treatment. The model adheres to simulated patients or manikin and can be secured with a special skin adhesive for extended training sessions. The intestinal tract is shown to illustrate typical challenges when wrapping a wound.
- Model PW001B – Cleaned and treated:
- This model shows the sacral region with a pressure wound after surgical debridement. Necrotic tissue has been removed, and wound pockets are visible. The wound can be shown either freshly debridemented or with wound exudate. The model can be used to demonstrate vacuum wound therapy. The model adheres to simulated patients or manikin and can be secured with a special skin adhesive for extended training sessions. The intestinal tract is shown to illustrate typical challenges when wrapping a wound.
