The DL6 is a dedicated data logger optimized for use with Delta-T soil moisture sensors. It can be used with combinations of ThetaProbes, SM150T soil moisture sensors and Profile Probes, and also accepts rain gauge and soil temperature sensor inputs. Up to 16,000 records can be stored in memory.
DL6 can record data from:

• 6 soil moisture sensors (or other analog voltage)
• 1 temperature sensor
• 1 pulse counter (e.g. rain)

DL6 – a great partner for Profile Probes

The DL6 provides a cost-effective solution for logging with Profile Probes. It handles PR2/6 (100 cm depth) or PR2/4 (40 cm depth). An IP68 cable makes connection easy, and the DL6 PC software simplifies sensor configuration and data collection.

Designed for outdoor use

The DL6 is ideal for both research and irrigation monitoring. To reduce the need to open the device, data is collected via an external RS232 connection, and the device status is checked using a vibration-activated LED light. The DL6 Loggers include a new accelerated recording feature that allows you to monitor the irrigation front.

Storage, communications and power

The DL6 has a storage capacity of 16k records (typical). Data can be collected using a laptop computer directly via RS232 or remotely using cellular modem options.
The DL6 has 6 internal alkaline AA batteries as standard. Up to 10 DL6s can share connections using the M8 cable network system.
