The device allows for experiments in both co-flow and counter-flow, thus delving deeper into the principles of heat exchange and efficiency calculations. Automated model <strong>Model UTC-3a\/EV<\/strong> has a PID controller that automatically controls the flow rate through two pneumatic valves.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mod. UTC-3\/EV<\/strong> includes a tubular heat exchanger in a tube-in-tube design (0.3 m\u00b2 exchange surface) in AISI 304 stainless steel and a radiator with a variable speed fan. The unit is equipped with an electronic anemometer, two flow meters with a range from 100 to 1000 l\/h (only <strong>Mod. UTC-3\/EV<\/strong> model) and six Pt 100 resistance thermometers with AISI 316 stainless steel casing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mod. UTC-3c\/EV<\/strong> adds all <strong>Mod. UTC-3\/EV<\/strong> advantages, as well as electronic magnetic induction flow meters (AISI 316 stainless steel, range from 0 to 1000 l\/h, 4-20 mA output signal), PC connection interface and data acquisition software.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Model UTC-3a\/EV<\/strong> without anyone <strong>Mod. UTC-3\/EV<\/strong> and <strong>Mod. UTC-3c\/EV<\/strong> The features include two pneumatic valves (AISI 316 stainless steel, Cv = 2.5) for flow control, a microprocessor-based digital PID controller with serial card connection and Windows-based monitoring software.
