The LCi T portable photosynthesis research system is a major upgrade based on the highly popular LCi-SD system. The LCi T features a large, color touchscreen, integrated GPS, programmable RGB or white LED lighting fixtures, and multi-parameter graphical display.<\/p>\n
Data entry and system control are made easy with the intuitive touchscreen software. Swipe left or right to switch between the screen with measured parameters, calculated parameters or multi-parameter graphs.<\/p>\n
New, lightweight LED lighting fixtures provide uniform illumination across the entire chamber window area. The RGB LED lighting fixture can provide 0 \u2013 2,400 \u03bcmol of light, while the white LED lighting fixture can provide 0 \u2013 2,500 \u03bcmol of light. A stable, fixed light level can be maintained for all measurements, or an automatic light response curve can be performed to characterize the photosynthetic capacity of the plant.<\/p>\n
There are many interchangeable chambers for different applications and different samples. By adding a 1L soil chamber, soil respiration measurements can be performed in the field. The system is automatically configured to measure CO2 increase and display the net CO2 exchange rate.<\/p>\n
