The intestinal mucosa is lined with numerous sessile and pedunculated partially pigmented polyps, the largest diameter of which reaches 1.5 cm. There is no macroscopic evidence of malignancy.

Note:
Microscopically, the polyps are most often biliary adenomas (>75% have biliary structure; also called adenomatous polyps). Less commonly, they are villous adenomas (>75% have villous morphology) or biliary and villous adenomas (25-75% villous). They may have varying degrees of dysplasia. The histological appearance is identical to that of occasional colonic adenomas.
Patients with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP; one of the inherited forms of small bowel cancer syndromes associated with the APC gene located on chromosome 5q21) are offered prophylactic colostomy because invasive adenocarcinoma almost certainly develops in one or more polyps, usually about 15 years after the onset of adenomatosis. This condition is transmitted as an autosomal dominant trait.

3D models of multiple colon polyposis – Erler-Zimmer Anatomy Group

More information: on the manufacturer's website or send us an inquiry!

[75,79
729,728,784,692,577,690
0":"post-19854","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_brand-erler-zimmer-gmbh-co-kg","7":"product_cat-modeliai-manekenai-muliazai","8":"product_cat-mokymo-priemones-ir-iranga","9":"product_tag-3d-printed-models","10":"product_tag-3d-spausdinti-modeliai","11":"product_tag-daugybines-storosios-zarnos-polipozes-modeliai","12":"product_tag-erler-zimmer-gmbh-co-kg","13":"product_tag-modeliai","14":"product_tag-models","16":"first","17":"onbackorder","18":"shipping-taxable","19":"purchasable","20":"product-type-simple
["GET
